Flags for Warriors is a registered 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to support military, veterans, and first responders, as well as their families and agencies, by building wooden flags and other commemorative artifacts for them in honor of their sacrifices. We are dedicated to ensuring these warriors are never forgotten.
Boyd was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin but grew up in Stockton, California. After high school he served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps and did 3 tours in Iraq. Boyd is a retired police officer from the City of Stockton, California where he was assigned to patrol as a field training officer and honor guard team member. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Management from Union Institute & University. Boyd enjoys riding his motorcycles and currently devotes much of his time to giving back to his community through different business ventures and Non-Profit Organizations. He now lives in Arizona with his family and is a mortgage loan officer with New American Funding. “I feel a deep obligation to give back, and my vision for establishing Flags for Warriors was to ensure that all first responders and military members are honored for their sacrifices, and are never forgotten.

John was born and raised in Somerset County Pennsylvania, just miles from the Flight 93 memorial site. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and has completed the coursework requirements for the Industrial Hygiene Masters program at West Virginia University, where he also joined Hearts of Gold in partnership with Wounded Warr
John was born and raised in Somerset County Pennsylvania, just miles from the Flight 93 memorial site. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and has completed the coursework requirements for the Industrial Hygiene Masters program at West Virginia University, where he also joined Hearts of Gold in partnership with Wounded Warriors Project as a volunteer trainer, handler, and foster for PTSD and Mobility service dogs, which are placed with wounded warriors at no cost to the veteran. John is currently the Regional Director of Risk, Safety, and Security for another non profit organization that operates children's shelters with the goal of reunifying children with their family or sponsors. Prior to this John was a consultant for risk and safety and focused heavily on training work at heights and confined space entry and access in the industrial sector as well as ropes rescue, confined space rescue and recovery for first responders, industrial rescue teams, and USACE contractors. Outside of work and volunteering John can usually be found hunting, fishing, or playing hockey at one of the many Phoenix area ice rinks.
Amanda was born in Salina, Kansas, and is now residing in Sierra Vista, AZ. Amanda is happily married to a retired Army Veteran with 25 years of service. Amanda is a hands-on mom with a passion for baking and crafting, She is creative, talented and enjoys spending time with her family. She has a giving heart and a kind soul.

He is a volunteer firefighter with the Calera Fire Department, and the President of the Red River chapter of the Seventh Sin Motorcycle Cub, which is a law enforcement and veteran Non-Profit Organization that operates in Texas and Oklahoma. Justin is passionate about helping first responders and military families, and has seen firsthand the sacrifices and turmoil that our service men and women face daily, as his father was a United States Marine Corps Vietnam veteran. He looks forward to providing some peace and comfort to families by supporting this cause.
Brandie is an education and small business consultant. He has been actively
engaged in education, community, and entrepreneurial advocacy for low-income populations
since 2006. In 2008, he founded Empowering Young Voices, Inc.; a social enterprise providing
life skill, economic development, and leadership training to low-performing schools

Brandie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Ethnic Studies from
University of the Pacific and currently directs the workforce development group; Owusu-Spencer
Consulting. When not working, Brandie enjoys reading, traveling, cuisine from different ethnic
groups, and exercising.
Paul is a Sergeant with the Stockton Police Department in California where he has served for the past 17 years. He currently supervises patrol and the mounted unit.
